Flutterwave, a leading Africa Fintech company has collaborated with PayPal to bring PayPal full services to Nigeria and the rest of African continent. This was announced by Flutterwave on their website . With this new development, African merchants can now pay and accept paypal payment. Which in the past was never possible.
Flutterwave has maintained a leading possible in Financial technology sector in Africa. The company is currently valued at over $1B (USD) according to qz.com.
This announcement means that African freelancers can now directly accept paypal payment without undergoing the previous stress of using third parties paypal accounts in accepting payments.
Previously, PayPal only allows African clients to make payment using MasterCard or VISA card link to their bank account. However, South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Egypt and Mozambique where the only Africa countries enjoying full PayPal services before now.
PayPal expressed worries over low financial security on other African countries hence the reason they never operated in full scale. Flutterwave absorbs the risk factor and assured PayPal of smooth and risk-free operations for it's merchants. Flutterwave has continued to offer smooth and easy financial payment services in Africa Fintech space.

To be able to access this paypal service through Flutterwave, you need to register with Flutterwave and become a Flutterwave merchant. Registeration on Flutterwave is and still remains free.
