How To Make Money From Your Free Website

How to Make Money off of a Free Website

There are numerous ways to make money off your website, no matter what kind of site you have. Today we'll review the best ways to turn your site into cash without spending a penny;

1. Paid Search Box.
The most important part of any site is content, the second most important part is ease of navigation of content. Without ease of navigation, you're leaving your readers with only main page articles or the article they found through internet searches. By placing a search box on your website you are allowing visitors to quickly browser through your archives and find exactly what they are looking for.
While free search boxes are good, Paid-Search-Boxes are even better. Adsense for Search allows you to set up your search box in many different ways. If you customize it properly, each time a visitor searches, not only do you make a few cents, but they will be getting results only from your website. Adsense-For-Search is a total must-have for any website. Check out how to PROPERLY create and install your Adsense for Search here

2. Affiliate links for niche products.
Every piece of content your product should be monetized in some way. No matter what you chose to write about, from gardening to sports; make sure you monetize it! By using programs like www.shareasale.com , www.PepperJam.com,
http://www.neverblue.com/signup
you can find merchants that match your article perfectly. For example, if you write a little blurb about going to see a concert; before you publish it, log into ShareASale and grab a link to an online ticket vendor. When your article is published, your readers will now have a direct link to order tickets to the concert you are talking about or purchase tickets to the event of their choice,  plus you're earning a kickback of 5% - 35%, depending on the merchant.
Or, if you write about the newest protein bars; throw a link in your article to a merchant that sells them.

3. Banner advertisements.
Banner advertisements are an amazing tool for monetization, if used properly. Placing too many banner ads can be overwhelming. Content should always be the primary focus of your site. But niche banner ads will convert to sales. Its better to pick a few great banner ads than to load your site up with tons of random, confusing ads.
Remember, banner advertisements are graphics and an insane amount of graphics can give your website a slow upload time. My advice is to pick out the ads you think will generate the best convertion; place them selectively on your site and change them sporadically.
Keep it fresh. http://www.neverblue.com/signup and http://www.maxbounty.com  offer a lot of catchy banner advertisements that convert easily if you're looking to post "free registration" stuff and earn a buck or two per lead.
Register here and start making money placing ad banners immediately.

4. Advertisers.
If you have a strong niche site, advertisers will pay you to post a link to their site, a banner ad or even write about their site( www.pepperjam.com) and/or products. Working with paid advertisers is a good way to guarantee income; especially when they pay by the month.
For example, if you have a niche site that focuses on tattooing, you can get advertisers to place their links or banners in your side bar for a N3,000 to N6,000  ($15 - $30) a month fee (depending on traffic. If you have a very popular site, you can charge even more). If you have 5 advertisers that each pay $20 a month for a link in your sidebar, you're making $100 a month guaranteed, just off of sidebar links.

You can also use sites that offer Pay-Per-Click advertisers as well as sites like www.TextLinkAds.com that match sites with your site so you can get paid to post ads.

CAUTION: The downside to having flat rate advertisers can be that you might lose money. If you are getting paid N4,000  ($20) a month for a link and you are generating $1,000 a month in sales for the advertiser, this is a loss because you could have used an affiliate link and made 15 - 20% (which would have been $150 - $200). However, it CAN also be a good way to go if the advertiser is willing to offer you a link on their website in return as well as the $20 a month. Just make sure your link on their site has good placement.

By using a mixture of the above ways to make money online, you will find that you can generate profit without having to invest in any programs! Just more great ways to make money online without spending a dime!

How To Start And Run A Successful Recruitment Agency

Starting a recruitment agency might seem like a good idea. Let’s face it, how hard can it be?

Companies need employees, so logic says it would be sensible to outsource the grunt work to someone else and then just pay them for the service they deliver as a recruitment agency.

As a recruiter then, all you need to do is match up the client and the candidate.

Yes the rewards for those ambitious entrepreneur’s that do start a recruitment agency can be potentially huge, as long as you don’t make these classic new start up mistakes.

1. Not Doing Your Market Research

This is one of the biggest reasons that most businesses fail. They simply do not adhere to the ancient premise of wants and needs and supply and demand. Let me explain, if you do not have something that people want and there is a market for, you will struggle to even achieve a decent cash flow let alone make any profit.

You must research your market well. In the recruitment market some sectors are better than others to enter. This can depend on anything from the area of the country you are based to the growth of an individual market. Research the labour market well. Who is advertising and who is appearing on page one? Buy an industry trade magazine, and read it from cover to cover. Read what is being said. What are the issues and upsides? Take the bull by the horns and offer to buy a recruiter a beer or glass of wine and pick their brains. This will give you a lot of the information you need.

If you have never worked in recruitment before I would respectfully suggest you get close to a recruiter (ensure to get our manual). Now you may have stacks of cash and just want to manage a team. That might be OK and yet my experience is that the really successful recruitment business owners have all worked at one time or another as a recruiter while those that didn't work as recruiter elsewhere, have coachs or something they can always fall back on. So what next?

2. Not planning your first 4 Months Cash Flow

When you are considering how to start a recruitment agency, your initial cash flow will be vital. You don’t need a expensive office when you first start hitting the phones though you do need ‘enough’ to cover your expenses. Remember many organisations particularly the larger ones only pay full after the recruitment exercise has been concluded, which can be anywhere between 30 and 90 days. Yes some companies can make their recruiter wait up to three months before they pay them. So even if you are well trained as a recruiter it is going to take you at least 2-4 months to get regular cash flow coming in so make sure you plan for that.

3. Being Disorganised Without A Marketing Plan

When you are thinking about starting your recruitment agency, you will need a marketing plan. This does not have to be a long drawn out document with everything covered. It does need to have the key elements. This would include who you market is, what your offer will be, how you will approach them, how you will generate sales leads etc.

Your business plan is something a little different and would be a useful document to show your bank manager. Here you would highlight your cash flow, how fast you will grow, when you will bring on board other recruiters, and how you will put in place recruitment consultant training for them.

And now to learn more about how to start a recruitment agency you can get our step by step guide on how to start and successfully run a recruitment agency.
The manual was prepared by human resource executives that have been involve in recruitment exercises for year, both local and international.
This manual is for both those that are already into this 'Business' and those that want to start up this recruitment 'Business'.
The manual is only N5,000 ($27.00). To order for it, contact:

Tips On How To Successfully StartUp Your Business As An Entrepreneur

As a performing Entrepreneur, I've had more than my fair share of experience starting new enterprises, turning around under performing enterprises or re-vamping operations.

During that periods, I've learned a thing or two about some critical factors you absolutely need to know before you jump into business.

In the majority of cases, start-up success or failure is all about knowing the both the how and the why of taking action, and always being clear about which steps to take next.

To help this process, here are 10 essential things you need to know about running a successful business. Use it as a checklist to make sure your thinking and your business plan are on the right track, or if you need to get more information, strategic education or clarity for yourself on your overall vision, your market, or your product or service.

Offer what people want to buy, not just what you want to sell. Too often, people jump into a business built around a product or service they think will be successful, rather than one that is already proven to have a market.

What do I mean?

Instead of creating and selling a new sports shoe with the latest trendy design and materials, you'd be much better off from a business perspective to focus on shoe category generally (a proven category because which people buy shoes every day) and then focus more specifically on the niche of high performance sports shoes, (which you may even sell in a section of a shoe retail outlet). Better to have a small slice of a large category than a large slice of no market at all.

Get cash flowing ASAP. Cash flow is the lifeblood of business, and is absolutely essential to feed bottom-line profits. So you need to find ways to jump start cash flow immediately.

How do you do that? In a professional services business, you can ask for deposits on work up-front, with balances due on delivery.

You can do the same in retail, especially on high-ticket or specialty item and position it as an added value and a way to insure delivery by a specific date.

You can also add value to generic items by creating private labels, and develop continuity programs where customers pay an up-front monthly fee to insure delivery or availability of items they will buy on a repeat basis. Of course, the key is to make sure there is little or no gap between when you pay for labor, stock inventory and when you actually get paid. Ideally, you'll find ways to get money up front, and your cash gap will never be an issue.
Always find new ways to keep costs low. All the cash flow in the world is worthless if it's not positive cash flow, which means you have to bring in more cash than you pay out.

To do this, you need to keep your costs and expenses low. We've touched on this before, especially in terms of outfitting a startup. The main idea is to never pay retail , and look for used or gently used items to furnish your office or your retail space.

Paying vendors up front also gives you leverage for negotiating better prices. Especially in this economic environment, where credit is at a premium, vendors are more willing than ever to find creative ways to finance transactions, and that is a trend will likely continue over time.

So do some extra work and research now to discover how owners and vendors are finding ways to work out deals, and you just may hit on whole new ways of doing business.

When planning, always overestimate expenses and underestimate revenues. I was trained as an numerical entrepreneur too, so the numbers side of business is part of my entrepreneurial DNA, and was also a big part of my early business education.

That said, I've never seen a startup business where expenses were at least 30 percent more than initially planned or anticipated, and revenues are at least that much less.

Being conservative in your numbers doesn't mean you are willing to accept those numbers, it just means you are arming yourself with information you can work with and work over. It means you can gauge the kinds of efforts and activities you will need to put into sales and marketing.

Focus on sales and marketing manically. In business, nothing happens until a sale is made. From the jump, you'll need to find a good way to get leads, convert leads into sales, and make sure you keep getting repeat sales from your customers.

The way to do this is to find or create a marketing and sales funnel system that you can work, test, measure; one that anyone in your company can utilize.

Too many entrepreneurs focus on getting their brand right before they start to generate leads. That is exactly the wrong way to go about business. Leads are always more important than your brand, so don't waste money getting your brand right at the expense of spending that same money to buy new customers.

Soon, you'll discover you can build your brand from the ground up, versus spending years and hundred of thousands of dollars building it from the top down. Don't presume you'll even survive that long, because without leads, you won't!

Find ways to exponentially increase profits. In business, there are five drivers that impact profits. If you can master them while keeping your costs in check, you will run a successful business.

It's as simple as getting more leads, converting more leads into customers, increasing the number of times those customers buy from you, increasing the average price point of your sales and increasing your profit margins.

Do any one of those, while also keeping costs down, you will see more profits. Do all of them and you will see your business really take off.

Test and measure everything. You can't change what you don't measure, and you can't tell if a program or strategy is working if you are not faithfully testing, measuring and tracking your results.

Another way to look at this is to think in terms of doctors. Most like to get baseline stats of your heart rate, blood pressure and breathing before they delve into identifying symptoms or recommending corrective courses of action.

The same is true in your business. Why keep literally throwing money away on an ad campaign that costs thousands of Naira but doesn't bring any people through the door?

Accept that learning more, equals earning more. If you've never run a million Naira business, you don't know how to start a business--simple as that.

But you can learn to run one, even if it is your million Naira business you are building from the ground up.

However, you need to accept right now that learning always comes before "earning" (except in the dictionary). You'll need to be committed to learning as much as you can about sales and marketing and operations if you want to have a truly success business.

Once you do that, however, the sky is the limit. Knowing and applying those simple fundamentals in a highly leveraged way is one of the reasons many top executives and entrepreneurs earn so much.

Identify those areas and you then can decide to learn it yourself or hire an expert and learn as much as you can from that person--because you never know when you can run across a distinction in thinking or a strategy that can really take you and your business to a new level of success.

Don't discount, add value. Whenever you discount, you are taking money directly out of your pocket and directly from your bottom-line profit. So don't do it. Instead, create added value propositions all the way up and down your product or service line.

Whatever the industry is, look to hold your price points, increase your margins with the low-cost or no-cost extras and any kind of freemium offerings.

In the end, those little things won't cost you a lot, but will build up tremendous goodwill and word-of-mouth with your customers and customer base.

Get a coach. Even if you don't get a business coach at first to help you and guide you in your planning and operation, get someone who is objective and outside of your business you can rely on for nitty gritty business advice and to hold you accountable to getting results.

Too often, we think we have all the answers and are the only people who can really get things done. The reality is that another set of eyes can work wonders for how you operate both on and in your business. An outsider can also make sure you are getting the numbers you need both on the top line and the bottom line to survive.

I hope this initial checklist will be valuable in helping you clarify your thinking and helping you prioritize some activities in your planning and start up mode.

I like to say there are no mysteries in business or in life, there's just information you don't know yet.

So prepare as well as you can, knowing you will need to make changes and corrections. But armed with the right strategies up front, you can cut the time it will take you successfully get to your ultimate destination--wherever it is that may be for you and your business.

How To Use Social Media To Improve Customers Relation.

Social media initially changed how we communicate with friends and family, but now it’s becoming very clear that it also affects how we interact with customers.

In a recent Social Media Study, 93 percent of Americans said they believe a company should have a presence on social media sites and 56 percent Nigerians believe that a company is providing them with a better service by doing so.

Of course, in addition to using external social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube,  companies can run public and private online communities to help create a more collaborative experience. This is part of Customer Collaboration Management (CCM), a third wave of customer-centric thinking that has been spurred on by social media technology.

Connect with your customers. You may already have a Facebook or Twitter profile for your personal use, but create a social networking profile for your business to connect directly with your customers.

Get blogging. Use a blog platform such as Wordpress to update clients and suppliers with news from your business. Comment on other people’s blogs or start a discussion thread in an online networking forum.

Encourage feedback. Encouraging and acting on feedback allows you to tailor your product or service to your customers’ needs. Use www.twtpoll.com to create a poll for your Twitter followers, or ask friends, followers and customers to offer feedback on your product or service.

Respond to the feedback. Note down feedback from all social media accounts. Log suggestions separately from complaints. Complaints are your priority, so set up a policy to deal with them swiftly and efficiently. Use suggestions to generate ideas to improve your product or service.

Monitor feedback online. You must remain aware of what people are saying about your business elsewhere on the internet. Use search engines or tools such as Google Analytics to find reviews of your business.

Keep an eye on the competition. Many sectors have consumer review sites where customers are encouraged to share their experiences. Scan these regularly to see what customers are saying about you and your competitors. If all your rivals seem to have special offers, it might be worth considering launching one, or you could miss out on custom.

Deal with negative feedback promptly. The more engaged you are, the less likely you are to have an online PR disaster. Investigate any complaints thoroughly and contact the customer directly to apologise or offer a solution if it is your fault.

Note what your customers want. If similar queries come up regularly, look at how they can be avoided by changing your processes. If this is not possible, add an FAQ section to your website to answer regular queries.

Change your customer service. Ensure that the person responsible for your customer service has access to your social media profiles for quick and immediate response even when his/she is off duty. Pass good feedback on to the relevant team members.

Communicate changes to your employees. Train staff to use social media, and set out a clear policy for anyone using your Facebook or Twitter accounts.

How To Effectively Multitask

Multitasking involves doing more than one thing( or work) at a time in alternated sequence.
Does it look like doing only one thing at a time isn't enough any more?
For multitasking to save you time, it has to be done with  little care and attention.

Establish your goals

The old saying, "If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there" is just as true even if you are following multiple tasks.

Schedule a time to give intense or complex tasks your full focus

Let it be known that you prefer to have time to yourself for an hour or two each day, and use that time for intense tasks that require your full concentration.

Work on one thing at a time, but alternate.

Jugglers may have many objects in the air, but they usually manipulate only one at a time.

Eliminate unnecessary tasks

If you're multitasking to be more efficient, don't spend time doing extra things. The exception is a background activity to help pass the time. For instance, if listening to the radio or a book on tape helps with the tedium of painting a wall, go for it.

Choose compatible tasks

For instance, you may find that reading and listening to speech both use the same type of focus. Instead, try pairing a physical task, such as typing, with a mental task, such as listening to speech.

Choose interruptible tasks

Especially if the multitasking consists of dealing with frequent interruptions (such as a ringing telephone), choose tasks that can be easily paused to do concurrently.

Keep a selection of smaller projects or simpler tasks around to fill gaps in a larger project

That is, do the larger project as a priority, but do basic, filler tasks any time you find yourself waiting for information or inspiration on a larger project.

Use wait time efficiently

Have something with you to do, especially in places you anticipate waiting (the airport, post office, or hospital). Carrying out research on the internet is an easy, portable task. Carrying note cards or a notebook to jot ideas is also a good idea.

Tips

o Notice what works and what doesn't. If homework in front of the TV takes twice as long as doing homework and watching a show separately would, don't pair those tasks in the future.

o Take the time to plan a bit. Even though planning is not doing, a good plan can make the doing more complete.

o Always be careful and ensure that you don't commit errors during multitasking, especially when money is involve, sending messages, or anything that can cause you irreparable damages.

o Try not to overwhelm yourself, if you feel as though you cannot complete two tasks at once, break it down into pieces and build your way up from there.

o Take along something else to do in a meeting, especially if you expect it to include topics that don't involve you. If a meeting will include enough topics that don't involve you, arrange to attend only the relevant parts, or don't attend at all.

o Make your exercise and walking time your 'you' time. Do this on lunch hour to save even more time.

o Don't overdo it. Don't do so many things at once that none gets done. Also, don't take on so much that you burn out.

o Always give your full concentration to tasks that might have safety consequences.

A Local Purchase Order or “LPO” is a commercial document issued by a customer or buyer to a vendor or seller for the purchase of goods. Often the vendor would have first issued a “quotation” or “tender” to the customer for the supply of these goods. The customer upon acceptance of the quotation would then issue the purchase order based on this quotation. The local purchase order is a legal offer to purchase. When accepted by the vendor, it is binding.

HOW TO GET YOUR BANK TO FINANCE YOUR LPO/CONTRACT

Here is how you can get your bank to finance your LPO or your contract.
LPO stands for Local Purchase Order. Read more about LPO and how to prepare it here.
Just as every agreement has its terms and conditions, there are some criteria which you will need to meet in getting your bank to finance your local purchase order(LPO) or contract. While the details may vary from bank to bank, the general criteria can be grouped into four main categories:

Your credit worthiness:

This is the most critical of all as the main reason why a bank reviews your loan request is to determine your credit worthiness.
To do this, the bank relies on your bank statements, that is, do your accounts get overdrawn, have your cheques ever been returned (bounced) as a result of insufficient funds? A credit check will also be conducted from at least two credit bureaus to find out if you have non-performing loans in any financial institution.

Ability to execute the LPO/ contract:

Often, it is expected that you would have executed similar contracts in the past. If this is the case, you will need to provide copies of such purchase orders or contract agreement, completion certificates, payment invoices from the contract employer and the bank statements that reflect these payments.

Commitment:

You will be required to make an equity contribution. This may vary from 10 to 20 per cent of the cost of executing the LPO/contract.

For example: you have been issued a N10m purchase order to supply telephones and the cost of purchasing and delivering the telephones is N7m; your equity contribution will be 10 to 20 per cent of N7m.

Payment ability of the issuer/contract:

While this is totally out of your control, the ability of the issuer of the LPO/contract to pay and also pay on time is often times a deciding factor on if your LPO would be financed by your bank or not.
As this is the primary repayment source of the LPO finance the bank will want to be assured of the payment of the contract proceeds on time. You may be required to show proof of payment from the contract employer; however the bank reserves the right to only finance LPOs from issuers that they are comfortable with.

Delayed payments of contract proceeds can have a negative impact on your profitability and your ability to repay the loan as a result of the prolonged interest payment.

Other areas which you have to consider include:

Are you a registered business or limited liability company?
Do you have your registration/incorporation documents?
Validity of the LPO or contract- was it duly signed by a designated representative of the issuing company?
Has the contract expired?
Does the time before the expiry of the contract give you ample time to execute it?
Do you have invoices from suppliers? Are your suppliers local or foreign based?
If foreign, what payment mode are you adopting- LC, bills for collection?

Have you reviewed the terms and conditions of the LPO/contract to ensure that you are able to abide by them.
Are there some clauses in it that may make the bank uncomfortable?

Goodluck!!!

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR COMPANY WITH CAC ONLINE

Do you own a company in Nigeria but has not registered it yet with CAC? Here is how to go about the registration process without stress.

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 2nd February 2015 launched a 24-hour online registration platform to fast track its business services to its customers. With the online registration portal, you will be able to register your business and also have access to the services offered by the corporate affairs commission. This is in line with the CAC’s call for Nigerian business owners to register their businesses. Which was a follow up to Corporate Affairs Commission’s plans for a new business registration software

According to Dr Olusegun Aganga, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, “Nigerians will no longer have to incur extra costs and will not travel to the CAC’s office to register their businesses”. He added that it was a joint initiative with the Federal Ministry of Communications Technology under Government Service Portal initiative. He explained that the portal was robust enough to accommodate all platforms such as inter-switch, e-transaction and visa card. Others include Verve card, American express and other forms of electronic payments. Aganga explained that any person that wanted to register his business would now do so easily in any part of the world without physically coming to CAC.

He listed easy access to payment of the commission’s services, reduction in cost for the accredited agents and ordinary persons as many benefits of the new online portal. Aganga said that the Federal Government was committed to deploying more positive initiatives towards a friendly business environment climate in the country.

Earlier, Dr Omobola Johnson, the Minister of Communication Technology, said that online registration would enable users to make payment services from the comfort of their homes. Johnson said that the portal would assist in revenue generation for the commission as well block all financial leakages.

To get started with your business registration with the CAC, make sure you have your National ID Number (NIN) provided to you by NIMC. Then, go and create your customer business registration portal account/access. Also, make sure you download the user guide and read the FAQs so you could have all the required information you need to successfully register your business with the CAC.

After creating an account, you will be asked to fill in your choice business name. You have two business name options to type in for the business name search. Also, for the basic company information, you will be asked for the business classification, company type, reason for availability search and the main objective of the business. In addition to this, you will be asked for your date of birth, nationality, country of residence, residential address, identity type, identity number and identity issue state. After these, you will need to make an online payment of ₦ 500.00 for the name search. CAC will notify you with more details after the name search has been concluded.

E-copy Right System Of Nigeria

There are three ways that people can choose to put on record that they are copyright owners-

(1).     If it is a piece of work that can be sent through the mail, post it to yourself or your lawyer and do not open it when you receive it; your lawyer will do the same. If there ever comes a time that your ownership of that work is in doubt, the postmark or delivery date on a courier slip (if you mailed it by courier or registered mail) is used as substitute for the date the work came into existence.

(2).      The other way is to prepare an affidavit, i.e. an official declaration of production and have it notarised by a notary public. Don’t go to court to swear to anything you want kept “under wraps” because you would have to deposit a copy in the court and it becomes accessible to the public.

(3).      You can also use the registration mechanisms provided for by your national copyright administrators. With the world becoming smaller through technology and the ability for copyrighted work to travel across borders instantaneously, the third option is the wisest option. Although it is not required that you register your work for you to claim copyright ownership of the work, the benefit of using a registration mechanism provided by the copyright administrators (in our case, the Nigerian Copyright Commission) is that the fact of your ownership becomes accessible to the public.”

HOW TO BE A GOOD BLOGGER

There is no doubt that we are in the information age, an age where everything is influenced by the correct use of appropriate information.  It is no surprise that the currency of this age is information. As expected, the individual that has the correct quantity of information at the right time has the potential to increase popularity and create wealth.

Blogging has taken centre stage with more and more individuals making an effort to drift a blog as one of the ways to establish a digital presence. Most blogs on the Internet are not optimally utilised. However, the few that have been able to stand out have become a resource centre and an avenue for wealth for their respective owners.

In this article, I would highlight on those things that would make your blogging experience both interesting and profitable.

Blogging requires some knowledge of the Internet. If you are afraid of your computer, then blogging may not be for you. Alternatively, if you are willing to learn, you can blog. It is important to note that successful blogging requires a large time commitment and a great deal of sweat.

In a couple of minutes, you can create a blog on a free service like blogger.comor invest some money in developers and have them create a bespoke blog. Whatever method you choose, blogging doesn't stop after you create a blog, write and publish a blog post; there is more.

Gaining exposure is important, but it is futile to attract people to your blog when it is filled with mediocre content. You have to attract them, but it is very important to make sure they stay, and you do that only by consistently being good at something and being recognised for it.

Blogging is like starting a new business, you need to learn all the concepts, theories and also get some help from others.

And trust me; it's not as easy as it sounds.

I have had to build a few blogs for individuals as well as consult for bloggers. Here are a few of the recommendations I have offered:

Find your niche:
It is important that you find a niche and be known for it. You could decide to blog about vehicle, health, current happenings etc. It is important to keep your information fresh and relevant.

Keep it short:
In my opinion, you should endeavour to keep each post less than 600 words.  Most readers would prefer a brief post to a lengthy one.

Define your ideal readers:
Once you've found your niche, you need to know who your readers are. For example, if you write about child care; the ideal readers are child care givers. Tailor your writing to your readers and it would be more meaningful.

Be original:
The amount of originality you put into your blog would help establish your blog and make it standout from the numerous others on the Internet.

Be interesting:
Find a place for humour on your blog; make your blog interesting enough; give your readers something to look forward to on every paragraph.

Be honest:
Your blog needs to be real--it needs to feel real--if you want people to read it  and keep coming back. The information  you provide must be trustworthy.

Time:
Be prepared to commit an amount of your time to adding content to the blog. You can't afford to update your blog only when you feel like it. Devote some time to running it.

Feedback:
Create a system that allows you to receive comments and feedbacks from readers on your blog. It is important that you provide your audience with an opportunity to participate. Their input would also inspire the kind of content you provide.

Negative criticism:
It is important that you prepare your mind because it is very certain that you would receive some negative criticism. Some individuals will question your motive, your source etc. Learn what you can from them and move on.

Research:
Spend your time researching what you're writing about. Keep getting better and be a step ahead, increase the amount of information at your disposal.

Keep it simple:
There is really no need to flood your blog post with high-sounding vocabulary, keep it as simple as possible. You would make more impact to your reader if they can comprehend your information easily.

Use pictures:
It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Using the appropriate pictures on your blog will make it more relevant. More of your readers will be able to relate better with the information that you are providing.

Be consistent:
When you are blogging, it is important that you endeavour to be consistent. It is better to provide small amounts of information at small intervals than provide lengthy information that isn't consistent.

In conclusion, to be a successful blogger, you must enjoy reading, researching, spending time on your computer and surfing the web. Successful blogging is a commitment in terms of time and effort and requires a great deal of self-discipline and self-motivation.

I look forward to reading your questions, comments and suggestions.
